As if working on a master’s degree while raising a child and having an active film career doesn’t keep her busy enough, Lauren Ashley Carter joins the boys (and Madeleine) this week. Lauren tells of her first role in a film, how she got onto Lucky McKee's radar, and how she still has stage fright to this day.

Taking influences from dreams rather than films, Michael Venus and Thomas Friedrich came up with the script for their film, "Sleep". The writer/director duo joins the boys this week to talk about their first feature film and the challenges of showcasing a film during a quarantine. In the intro, Randy talks Frederick Wiseman...again. Clark and Randy have differing views on Antonio Campos' new film and Russ covers "Eli Roth's History of Horror". It's been over three years since filmmaker Stu Jopia chatted with the boys and this week he makes his return, along with show favorite Chris "Zombieking" Fairrie, to talk about their film festival, Dead of Night. They talk about the decision to make this year's festival online, free, and available to anyone on the planet. Stu also catches us up on his latest film "Creatures". In the intro, Benji Carver calls in from captivity to tell us about his event in partnership with Another Hole in the Head Film Festival, Mr. Holehead's Warped Dimension.

After making a career producing films, Chris De Pretis decided to write and direct a feature that took place in his hometown of Pleasanton, CA. Chris joins the boys this week to talk about his film “Death Blood 4: Revenge of the Killer Nano-Robotic Blood Virus”, working with the late Nipsey Hustle, and how he went to the same high school as Randy.

In the intro, the boys are joined by Jahsaudi Perkins yet again. He talks about “Kalifornia".. kinda. At 26 years old and with nearly ten features under his belt, Charlie Steeds is always waiting for his next project. The filmmaker joins the boys this week to talk about his film "The Barge People".

In the spirit of Akira Kurosawa's "Rashomon", the boys wanted to get multiple perspectives on the same film. Joining the boys this week from the film "Survival Skills" is actor Vayu O'Donnell and writer/director Quinn Armstrong. In these two separate interviews, Vayu and Quinn share their personal experiences with the film and talk about how screenings are during a global pandemic.

As it wins audiences over at Fantasia Film Festival, director Ryan Kruger joins the boys to talk about his directorial debut, “Fried Barry”. Ryan talks about the 1980’s Sci-Fi films that inspired his tale of a drug addict being abducted by aliens and then going on a bender, and why he wanted to display the less glamorous side of Cape Town. In the intro, former guest and current friend Jahsaudi Perkins joins the boys once again to talk one of the films that he watched while working. Randy watched a Criterion Channel film starring Nick Nolte’s mustache. Clark talks about Thomas Jane, again. To wrap things up Russ and Clark share their slightly differing views on “The Oak Room”, from this year’s Fantasia Festival.

Antoine is 6 coffees deep and ready to discuss everything from filming in haunted hotels to Paul Greengrass as an influence.
