The Owsley Stanley Foundation's mission is to preserve more than 1,300 recordings left behind by famed Wall Of Sound engineer and architect and infamous LSD chemist, Owsley "Bear" Stanley. These preserved and meticulously remastered releases have been entitled "Bears Sonic Journals". The Owsley Stanley Foundation’s ninth release of Bear’s Sonic Journals: The Foxhunt features the Chieftains performing live in San Francisco in 1973 (CD & vinyl) and 1976 (CD & digital only).

We talk with Starfinder, Pete, and Hawk about the painstaking work that went into creating this release, the detective work that went into creating the 30+ page booklet of info and stories that come with the physical copies, the artwork and why this particular piece was chosen for the cover, traveling to Dublin just prior to Paddy Moloney's death to get the whole story, and so much more!
