Just so it's clear, I agree with a lot of the logic my demon characters use. Except they're demons, and I'm a human. Our existences and desires are antithetical, so while they use their mental pathway to seek annihilation, myself and my mortal friends can use it for creation. Just think about it for a second and you'll see that I'm right(ish).

April 16, 2021 Abyss 3: May the Young and Old Diverge
There is a chance for everything, so we give everything for a chance. Can you blame them? No. You do not understand. You look at the fields of your fellow damned human souls and say that it is the fault of the demons. Perhaps. But then do you believe that your damnation was your fault? No, you believe, nay, you know that you were misled, that you could have been better under a better system. So too could the demons be akin to saints. But where does the system start? Where does it end?

Every good deed you do helps ease the world's pain, so long as you do not grow complacent. It is difficult, I know. You might tell yourself you don't have the energy after work. But why do you work so hard that you don't have the energy to even consider being good? What madness is that? You've found a thread. Start pulling at it.

LET'S GET SOMETHING CLEAR:

The demons in this little universe thingie have it much worse than us, okay? Literally existence itself hurts them. Don't take your ambient sadness and be like, oh, hey, Mr. Pantheon guy wrote a story about suicidal demons, so I should commit suicide by blowing up the world. Nah nah nah nah. You're sad 'cause we humans are stupid, and have messed the world up by worshipping selfishness. Help in fixing that, you'll feel good. I know 'cause I'm also a person, believe it or not, and I know how to really feel good in this man wrought hell. And also in general, too : )

Anyways, I have a real perverse sense of fun, but then don't we all? It's so much better to endorse that in make believe stories then in harming the real flesh and blood people of this universe, isn't it?

April 08, 2021 Abyss 1: May the Flames in the Sky Wither and Die
A mini series that I cranked out. I'm mostly having fun here, per usual, but you'll find some of my real ideas hidden in there. I hope they continue to worm their way into your heads. And I also hope that you ignore the baby chickens screaming in the background. The alternative was recording in a vehicle which would quickly turn into a sauna, and I for one do not like dying for podcasts. I hope you understand.

Anyways, I think I'll be writing longer descriptions again. I don't think anyone reads them, but I like 'em.

Arrrg, shoot me. Whelp, I'm back. It's done. I got a lot of more interesting things written in the meantime, but this will only make sense if it's released in the same time period as the other test subjects.

Anyways, it always helps to remember what you're working towards. Life is not worth preserving solely for itself. It is an absolute neutral, something that must have value to be added to it for it to be worth your effort. Where does that value come from? I'll state my opinion in the mouth of one of my characters.
