Dana began her private practice in Vancouver, Canada in 2003. After struggling with her own child's sleep, she drew on her dual degrees in Psychology and Education to create The Sleep Sense ™ Program, a complete sleep resource for parents which has sold almost 130,000 copies in more than 30 countries.

She has been a featured speaker at major parenting trade shows, a frequent guest on radio and television programs, and her work has been highlighted on Good Morning America, CNN, Today's Parent, WebMD and The Washington Post, She has personally trained a global network of over 350 Certified Sleep Sense™ who help tired families around the World.

I am excited to share with you today Belinda and Alex who are Paediatric Occupational Therapists and co founders of @theindependencehub; an online platform with resources that make toilet training simple for children and their caregivers.

After seeing the benefit of personalised toilet stories when supporting hundreds of children with toileting in their clinical experience, they’ve created a incredible platform where parents can make their child a photo-personalised e-book, animated video and visual cue cards about using the toilet, that ignites confidence and empowers independence, making toilet training a little easier and maybe even a little fun.

On this weeks episode I an excited to share with you @shelleymckenzie_naturpath, Shelley has been in the health industry for over 15 years. She is a Mum of 3, Clinical Nutritionist and Naturopath and cohost of The No BS Motherhood Podcast 

We have an awesome chat on the importance of healthy nutrition for both us as parents and our kiddo's.  And the CHALLENGEs of being able to achieve that, with causing extra stress for mumma and with fussy eater's, Shelley shares lots of tricks of the trade to get the nutrition in.  Making it as easy as possible.

Her journey began when she 24 years old and experience a sudden health storm within her body. She was diagnosed with a condition called Hashimotos, an autoimmune disease. From here she made it her mission to learn about nutrition and how she could overcome and manage this diagnoses by using the ‘food is medicine’ principles.

She now pairs her degrees with her own personal health and motherhood experiences to help her clients live a happy, healthy and well balanced life.
