In this Father's Day episode, Dr. Kim is talking with Kendall Smith all about fatherhood. Kendall Smith was a "complete rookie" when he became a Dad, welcoming his “giant baby boy, Connor." Not only was Kendall a rookie at being a father, but he was also a rookie because he'd had little experience with his own dad, having been raised by a single Mom. So, to understand how to parent successfully, he spoke to many role models about fatherhood. The lessons he learned as a “Rookie Father” are collected in his book Rookie Father, subtitled “A Playbook for Men Experiencing Fatherhood for the First Time.”

During her 21 years with Responsibility.org, Leslie Kimball has led the development and implementation of programming and communications campaigns for the not-for-profit. These campaigns include the rebranding of Responsibility.org in 2015, the organization’s 20th Anniversary celebration in 2011, and the Ask Listen Learn and Talk Early and parenting influencer initiatives.

As Executive Director, Kimball leads the organization’s team of 15 professionals.
