In an attempt to spin the podcast off into a film franchise of its own, this week Scott is joined by Quill as that discuss their fondness for the god and bad in the world of book to film adaptations.  Which swiftly devolves into a lengthy rant about the Harry Potter films.  But find out what Quill's favourite is, what other non-Harry Potter things they have issues with, and most importantly, what the cat in the background has to say about the topic.

After a slight scheduling-difficulties-mandated delay, we are back!  Joined this week by Robin to talk about the art of string magic that is knitting.  We've got it all, from our alarmingly similar knitting origin stories, how it helped in times of depression, forcing friends to praise scarves, and figuring out whether it's possible to take knitting needles on a plane without being arrested.  Plus we pat ourselves on the back for using the metric system like sane people.

This week Scott and his increasingly croaky voice are joined by Justin, who tells us all about how he taught himself computer programming in a cave, with a bunch of scraps (it may have been a Starbucks), and realised he wanted to pay it forward by teaching others. To answer everyone's question right off the bat, no we are sadly not talking the Mortal Kombat character.

Now with that out of the way,  come one and all to hear Kyle tell is about the non-fatality weilding John Cage and his pioneering of the world of "weird music".  What exactly is that?  Well, short version is using a variety of things for abstract percussionism.  The long version is...this podcast episode, so just listen to it!  Find out how four and a half minutes of silence can be considered a song, what taking part in a rice orchestra is like, listen to Scott mispronounce the word "percussion" about 50 times, and hear Kyle find no less than four tamborines within arm's reach over the course of the episode.
