Colossians 1:15 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.

He existed before anything was created and is supreme over

all creation, 16 for through him God created everything in the

heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and

the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and

authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through

him and for him.

Learning from the Teaching of Christ

1. God gave us Christ to deliver the Wisdom of God

2. We must be consistent in learning God’s Word

3. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom

4. Invited to a lifelong journey of learning & growth

Doing good is God’s will for His children

1. God expects all His children to do what is good

2. Doing good with the resources provided by God

3. Called to do good even in difficult circumstances

4. Refusing to do the good we ought to do is sin

5. Well done! Come and share your masters joy

1 Corinthians 16:13 Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. - (NLT)

Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. - (NIV84)

Hebrews 10:35 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. 36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. 37 For in just a very little while, “He who is coming will come and will not delay. 38 But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him.” 39 But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.

Standing firm in the faith

1. Biblical faith is an active force to walk with God

2. Faith takes God at His Word even in adversary

3. Examine yourself to see if your faith is genuine

4. Disciples care for the need of the family of faith

5. Our faith and confidence will be richly rewarded

eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.”

And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega,

the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water

of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit

Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors

through him who loved us.

These Words are faithful and true

1. God’s Word is substance we can always trust

2. His Word is the reliable foundation of our faith

3. Faith that fully trusts in His Word pleases God

4. The promises of Passover & Holy Communion

5. God will return to Zion & share His inheritance

Luke 1:30 But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary,

you have found favor with God. 31 You will be with child and

give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. 32

He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The

Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he

will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never

end.”

John 19:25 Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his

mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.

26 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom

he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, “Dear woman,

here is your son,” 27 and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.”

From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.

The joys and anxieties of a mother

1. Angel Gabriel promised & created expectation

2. A sudden journey before Mary could give birth

3. Simeon & Anna awaited the promised Messiah

4. Mary & Jesus are present a Wedding at Cana

5. Mary had to put up with the anguish of her son

6. Mary was with her son all the way to the cross

What are the desires of our hearts

Hebrews 2:10 In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that

God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make

the author of their salvation perfect through suffering. 11 Both the

one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the

same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers. 12

He says, “I will declare your name to my brothers; in the presence

of the congregation I will sing your praises.” 13 And again, “I

will put my trust in him.” And again he says, “Here am I, and the

children God has given me.” - (NIV84)

Ephesians 1:4 Even before he made the world, God loved us

and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. 5

God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing

us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do,

and it gave him great pleasure. -

Church is the workshop of Christ

1. The purpose of Church is to mold us into sons

2. The Church is His family where learn to love

3. Church was founded by Christ who is Head

4. Our Father is shaping us by Word & discipline

5. Where are we? Children, Youths, Fathers?
