The Pat & Aaron Show

Monday's Pat and Aaron Show wasn't as close to perfect as the Rays were over the weekend, but it was still a fun one. Dave Wills joined the boys to preview the very important series with the Yankees. We also discussed a HUGE WWE show coming to Tampa next week and an ultimate blunder of an NHL mascot from over the weekend.

Dave Wills of Rays Radio joined Pat Donovan and Aaron Jacobson on Monday afternoon. He told us how much is riding on this 4 game series with the Yankees. He also told us what he thought of the Angels emotional no hitter from Friday.

Friday's Pat and Aaron Show was especially goony. The guys discussed Mike Vrabel saying he would cut off his junk to win a Super Bowl and asked what appendage you'd cut off to secure that the Rays stay in Tampa for eternity. The guys were joined by Steve Carney to discuss the Rays returning to the field on Friday night. Joe Smith also joined us to give us the answer to the question Tampa Bay sports fans have been asking; would Jeff Vinik be interested in buying the Rays?

Tampa Bay Sports fans have asked frequently if Bolts owner, Jeff Vinik would be interested in buying the Rays. Joe Smith from the Athletic recently asked Jeff that question and he joined Pat Donovan and Aaron Jacobson on Friday afternoon to give us the answer.

WDAE's own Steve Carney joined Pat Donovan and Aaron Jacobson on Friday afternoon. Steve went over the comments that Kevin Cash made about 93 wins not being enough for the Rays to make the playoffs. He also told us why the bullpen might be where the Rays focus at the trade deadline.

Pat and Aaron weren't offended by Tracy Morgan's monologue at the ESPYs, but Pat had an issue with Megan Rapinoe's outfit. All of that and more was discussed on Thursday's Pat and Aaron Show. Chris Torello hopped on to talk some Rays and Bucs. We also debated if Kevin Kiermaier will ever make an all star team in this week's edition of over/under. We also made a smoothie out of all the topics we missed in the blender.

Will Kevin Kiermaier ever make an all star team? How many victories will USF have on the football field in 2019. Those questions and more were answered in this week's edition of Over/Under.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Thursday that Melvin Gordon wants out of LA if the Chargers don't give him a new contract. It would take some creative cap work to get it done, but should the Bucs trade for the running back? Pat and Aaron debated this on Thursday.

Chris Torello of Spectrum Sports joined Pat Donovan and Aaron Jacobson on Thursday afternoon. Torello told us why he thinks the Bucs defense will be better than people think this season. He also told us why he doesn't understand the key to the city concept.

Today is supposedly the slowest sports day of the year, but that didn't stop Pat and Aaron from having a great show. The guys recapped the all star game and Rob Manfred's comments about the Rays-Montreal plan. Marc Topkin joined us freshly back from Cleveland to discuss his all star experience. We also brought back words with goons from the grave.
