The party that claims to be about family values wants to destroy social security.... They want to take children away from their parents at the border in order to deter migrants....For the poorest people in America they want to increase the amount they have to pay for housing.

The GOP has a couple of proposals to either borrow from Social Security to pay for 12 weeks of leave to new parents, or to fund it with money from a pay roll tax. The concequences would disproportionately affect women, and reduce future retirement funds by 3% per 12 week leave.

Pat opens the program with a discussion the recently filed lawsuit from the DNC. She is joined by political writer Norman Solomon and they dive into details about the suit and talk about who the suit is aimed at. Furthering the conversation, Pat then brings up James Comey and ponders is a hypocrite for some of his recent actions and words.

Pat continues talking about James Comey and brings up his stance on gun control, which leads to a full on conversation about the origins of the Second Amendment and whether or not it is right in this day and age.

In the first hour of the program, Pat is joined by author and political Journalist, Greg Palast. Pat and Greg discuss voter suppression and also Greg's book, "The Best Democracy Money Can Buy", which has recently been turned into a documentary.

Pat is joined, in- studio, by local musican Don Arbor. Pat and Don discuss Don's music and why he makes the music he does. They talk in detail about the messages Don tries to communicate through his music and Pat also plays several of Don's songs.
