The Path of Socrates

One of the most popular techniques in predictive astrology is the “one degree per year” method, by which each factor in the natal chart is moved (“directed”) at the rate of one degree per year of life, that motion being on the ecliptic. But what is the astronomical basis for such a motion, considering the fact that only the Sun moves at that rate, and that only approximately? Should we rely on any astrological technique that is merely “symbolic”, and has little if anything to do with the actual astronomical movements of the planets? Michelangelo and I discuss this issue in an episode obviously meant for those who are into astrology beyond the “superficial” level.

Very often, teachers – unwittingly or not – make their students dependent upon them, instead of doing what any excellent teacher should in fact do: namely, to guide the pupil towards true independence in the area concerned. For it is only thus that the student may become truly creative in that field, and make more significant contributions to it throughout his or her life.

OK, I’ll admit that in this episode, I’m “talking out of my league”, because the truth is, I am certainly no expert on fashion! Nonetheless: being the sort of person who delights in thinking about all kinds of topics, I thought I’d share with you some of my musings on an area that interests millions of people. Of course, I’ll gladly forgive you if you decide to take my views with a couple of grains of salt...

Have you been wasting incredible amounts of time reading, listening and researching what has been going on in the world these past couple of years? What a fool you have been! Why spend hundreds of hours informing yourself and forming reasonable conclusions when there are millions of people around who would be delighted to save you all that time by telling you what to think?! Imagine how easy life will be once that bothersome burden of “thinking for yourself” has been lifted from your shoulders…

How many times have we heard statements such as: “I disagree, but I respect you and your opinion.” Sounds nice, doesn’t it? But is this really the way we should be thinking? In this episode, I point out the importance of distinguishing between respecting opinions and respecting the RIGHT to have and/or express those opinions – a crucial distinction indeed!

This episode represents an attempt to “wake people up” by (quite frankly) hurling well-justified insults at them. After giving a standard definition for the word “stupidity”, I proceed to clearly demonstrate the stupidity of those who think it’s fine to hear only ONE side of a scientific debate, and adopt therefrom a definite conclusion – a conclusion that has already cost tens of thousands their very lives. When will they ever learn?

In this somewhat sarcastic, “tongue-in-cheek” episode,  I will teach you how you can acquire a new profession: that of a totalitarian dictator! You will learn the measures you must take to rob the people of their freedom, step-by-step – and of course, I will give many concrete, practical examples of just how this is being done today. Yes, if you follow these instructions carefully (and are lucky as well), you too can become a tyrant despised, yet feared by the masses!

I highly recommend that, either beofre or after you listen to this podcat episode, you watch the video linked below; it gives a truly excellent presentation on what we will most likely be facing in the not-too-distant future, as far as our financial syetm is concerned. I assure you, the outlook is most dire... Michelangelo and I discuss this and related topics, in this most recent conversation we had on February 23, 2022.

In this episode, I talk about the phenomenon of censorship in societies like ours that in theory should be allowing freedom of speech. Since the beginning of the “Covid era”, the powers-that-be have seen fit to do everything they can to silence any critics, even those highly-qualified medical professionals who have clear scientific evidence that the so-called “vaccines” are not at all the “safe and effective” wonder drugs that Big Pharma says they are.

In this episode, I  talk about the mindset of the many people these days who are living among us, and are at heart in reality fascists - although they would never themselves admit it. Fortunately for those of us who love freedom, it is very easy to recognize who these people are...
