The majority of people who believe in God refer to the Creator as “He”; those of the Feminist persuasion prefer to call their Maker “She”. I say why not simply call God “It”. After all, the universe, that includes everything in creation, including us, is routinely referred to as “it”, and we do not think it is derogatory to do so. The shooting and killing of Ashli Babbitt on January 6 at the U.S. Capitol was an event that curiously served both sides of the political spectrum. The Left uses it to show how the “fanatical” Trump supporters were hell-bent on breaking through those doors so that they could attack members of congress; in their view, Babbitt “deserved what she got”. The Trump supporters, on the other hand, view the killing as outright murder, and use the event to underline the evil of their political opponents. But what really happened in that part of the capitol building, where Ms. Babbitt was so tragically mortally wounded? As a matter of fact: is that really  what happened? Based on viewing  videos of the occurrence, I give a somewhat different analysis of what perhaps did in fact take place.

For some reason, many people tend to believe totally either one side or the other, in politics, religion, and other areas as well. The problem here is that truth can sometimes be partially found in MANY places – after all, even a liar can sometimes tell the honest truth! Again and again, we hear about how the “evil” Russians – with Vladimir Putin leading the way – want to take down the U.S., maybe even teaming up with China to do so. After all, haven’t they already done a host of terrible things, like using deadly nerve agents to murder double agents who were living in other countries? What this sort of talk routinely neglects is simple reasoning: what would Putin gain if the U.S. falls, thus leaving, as superpowers only Russia  – and China: a China that would then naturally being to look with envy on the vast Russian territories, and their incredible wealth of natural resources.
