“The world wants you to be exactly who you are - because nothing will happen if you aren't. You are enough and your enough is what changes the world”-By Erin Bahadur
In this weeks solo episode, I want you to imagine it’s just you and I on the couch having a conversation - we both know it’s a safe space - and we trust each other as we discuss knowing and believing that YOU ARE ENOUGH. What feelings enter your mind and body when you hear you are enough?
Do you know you are enough, more importantly do you believe you are enough? Even in your situation, mess or brokenness? You are not enough because I said you are..it’s just simply YOU ARE! Take some time to listen and start paying attention to the way you speak to yourself about yourself. Stop listening to the unsolicited opinions of others and instead focus on the things that you cherish about yourself today.
In this Solo episode I share points I know to be true that can help you learn to be content and satisfied in knowing you are enough:
This is not a huge one time event. As long as we are living we should speak positivity into our lives, as things change and as people come and go.
If you need help consider reaching out to me. We are waiting to see the real and whole you show up in the world.

The month of October is known to bring awareness to many great causes. Today, my guest Mrs. Judith “Judy” Tanksley-Castro and I discuss surviving Domestic Violence. We also discuss her bravery and healing from sexual assault and substance abuse. It is our hope to always support and advocate for survivors, mourn those we’ve lost and celebrate those working continuously to heal and recover. It is essential that we keep spreading the word, as domestic abuse has risen since COVID 19.
Mrs. Judith is one of the most inspiring and resilient examples of someone who never gave up and will share her testimony to bring awareness to everyone who will listen. It is important to note that every domestic violence survivor’s story is unique and “after” isn’t always clear and safe. As difficult as it was to cover all Mrs. Judith overcame in 1 hour, it was just as difficult to know she had to endure so much starting at such a young age. But, in her words “But Yet I Live”. Her persistence and fight to live, allowed her to later accomplish goals she had as a young lady. Mrs Judith received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology and then her Masters Degree in 2019 at the age of 64 years young. She is not stopping there and now looking to relocate to the Atlanta Georgia area as soon as she finds employment in her field. Anyone seeking a vibrant, eager person to work with Seniors or to be a Case Manager, please contact Mrs. Judith at “[email protected]".

This week I’m back with a Solo episode sharing The Path’s Survival Guide to Embracing The Detours of Life.
One of the most frustrating things in the world to me besides bad traffic is having to detour because of it. No one likes to change direction or take a longer route, but we are often forced to do so at some point especially if you’re driving in Georgia. Our life's journey is no different. Detours most times are not expectant and can be overwhelming.
What do you do when life requires you to detour from your normal comfortable life? Do you freeze in time? Do you sit in a state of shock or do you fight to move out of your comfort zone, reroute and change directions? There’s a quote that reads,
“Often what may appear as a detour in life is actually the most direct and empowering path to your destination” - James Arthur Ray

“All of my experiences have created a deep and abiding faith in God’s love and faithfulness…and now I know the answer to Why Me? It’s Why Not Me? I will forever say yes to His Will and yes to His Way and keep serving the people of God.” - Maxine S. McDaniel
Maxine, is the founder of Tickled Past Pink Foundation, Inc. a 501(c) (3) dedicated to providing resources for breast cancer survivors. She is the first to say, she could not do it alone. Without the help of her board, church, family, friends and countless businesses that sponsor her foundation she would not be able to reach as many people. Along with her foundation, Maxine is the founder of GG 20% Productions that strives to empower and provide clean comedy shows all across the country.
For the sake of time, Maxine and I still did not discuss all she’s overcome and accomplished, because during the conversation she thought of someone or someone’s business who helped her along the way that she wanted to recognize. As you listen you will hear a woman who is forever grateful.
