The Patriotic Progressive: For Truth, Justice and the Democratic Way

On this 5th episode of The Patriotic Progressive: For Truth, Justice and the Democratic Way on KAZM/Mellow Mountain Radio (106.5 FM and 780 AM out of Sedona), Stephen Hanks welcomes special guest Andra Watkins, a New York Times Best Selling Author, who has been producing an outstanding series of essays on Substack called "How Project 2025 Will Ruin Your Life." Since early this year, Andra has been detailing how the right wing's draconian manifesto would negatively impact every aspect of American society should Donald Trump somehow get elected again. And much of Project 2025's proposed policies include a Christian Nationalist agenda.

On this 3rd episode of The Patriotic Progressive: For Truth, Justice and the Democratic Way on KAZM/Mellow Mountain Radio (106.5 FM and 780 AM out of Sedona), Stephen Hanks assesses the results of the Arizona Federal, State, and local primaries, welcomes special guest Nikki Check (who in a huge upset won the Democratic Primary race for AZ District 2 Supervisor), analyzes the current state of the 2004 Presidential Campaign, and offers his thoughts on the "White Dudes for Harris" and the "weirdness" of Donald Trump and J.D. Vance.

On this 2nd episode of The Patriotic Progressive: For Truth, Justice and the Democratic Way on KAZM/Mellow Mountain Radio (106.5 FM and 780 AM out of Sedona), I talk briefly about Donald Trump's most recent unhinged comments about ending voting in America and the surreal national political developments of the past few weeks, I'll also be making endorsements for local and statewide Democratic candidates in Tuesday's primary. Three of those candidates who are running for seats on the very important but under appreciated Arizona Corporation Commission are my special guests on this episode--Joshua Polacheck, Ylenia Aguilar, and Jonathon Hill, who are running as a team to give Democrats a majority on this commission which, among other responsibilities, regulates public utilities.
