The Titans blew a big change to collect their first win and change the conversation when Cam Ward threw a first-down interception close to the Giants goal line to ensure an 0-3 start. He didn’t have to throw it. There was time. There were timeouts. Now they are in recovery mode. Again. Sponsored by Edley’s BBQ and Brown and Brown Realty. The Paul Kuharsky Podcast, live from MetLife Stadium.
The Titans passing game in a nutshell: If you're going to run one of the NFL's shallowest passing games, you need to be unusually efficient at completing those passes or unusually explosive after completing them. Tennessee is neither. Plus special teams’ struggles, Kendrick Faulk’s been invisible and JC Latham on playing a great game but having it overshadowed by one bad play.
The Titans did a lot of things better and looked like a competitive football team. But the consensus was better didn’t matter.
Some Titans sounded too comfortable after such a bad loss. Can they show up a lot better against the Eagles? Plus Cam Ward patience vs. urgency, Week One is no more a liar than Week Six, Hall of Fame changes, the time pressure is different between fans and coaches/players, Brian Daboll was all cliches, much more and all your questions.

The Titans don't need to make Week One bigger than it is. But if they're going to show real progress, they need to start beating teams like the Jets, Browns, Commanders and Raiders.
