Robby & Rexrode

Paul Kuharsky from PaulKuharsky.com joins Robby and Joe in studio for the final hour talking all things Tennessee Titans.  What does PK think of the Alontae Taylor situation and what hasn't worked?  We head to your phones.  Paul is sick of Ward and his footwork problems.  Why is it taking so long to get figured out?  What does Paul think about the potential trade situations for the Titans at the deadline?  Is there anything to worry about HC Robert Saleh and his coaching style?  We wrap up with your final phones and thoughts on tough stretch of schedule coming up.

We get into the Titans talk for the day in hour two.  The NFL trade deadline is NOV 10th and teams, mostly the Colts, are starting to make moves.  Which moves for the Titans might make the most sense?  Where might be the best fit for Colts RB Jonathan Taylor?  What kind of value do Hooker and Simmons have for the Titans?  What about Pollard and Ridley?  We take your thoughts.  Paul Kuharsky from PaulKuharsky.com hops in studio with the guys.  If the Titans did trade Pollard, who is going to run the ball?  What is a fair asking price for Simmons?  Joe has his Rex Rant of the day.

Robby and Joe begin with the latest on the Nashville Predators after a shootout loss to the Islanders last night.  What has been going on with former 1st round pick Brady Martin this season in the AHL?  Preds reporter Alex Daugherty had some thoughts on that yesterday.  Do we think there is a chance Martin doesn't play for the Preds this season?  GM Chris MacFarland shared his perspective and plan on Martin with DVD yesterday.  We talk some college football for the rest of the hour.  How do we think the QB draft class is shaping up given all the injuries and down play?  Do we think see any true 1st round picks?  How has developing a QB in college changed over the years?

Closing out the show with more Titans talk on this Tuesday.  We get back into the Cam Ward discussion and how much better can he get this season?  What about his career?  The OL and weapons around him have improved, why haven't we seen more from Ward?  What could the QB situation this offseason look like and should they consider bringing in competition?  We get more into the Alontae Taylor situation and what that means for the defense.  We head to your phones, and wrap up with some more thoughts on the construction of the roster.

We continue the Titans talk to begin hour two.  Titans HC Robert Saleh spoke yesterday about DB Alontae Taylor and the plan is to start working him in the slot.  Do we think that is a good idea?  What led to the decision to sign him in free agency and play him on the outside?  What does that tell us about the tenure of GM Mike Borgonzi and the offseason moves?  We take your phones.  The Nashville Predators return to action tonight vs the Islanders.  Alex Daugherty from The Tennessean hops on to discuss what he saw from the Preds this past week.  Joe has his Rex Rant of the day.

We begin Tuesday's show with some talk on the Vols.  How are we and fans feeling about the direction of the program under HC Josh Heupel following the loss to South Carolina?  The expectations for the team are pretty high given the roster and amount of money they are spending.  At what point should they be competing for a national title?  Heupel is a good coach, but can he get them over the hump?  How will he handle the QB situation moving forward?  We transition to some discussion on the Titans.  After what we've seen this season, what is the ceiling for QB Cam Ward?  Why were all of his best games from last season?  Is he still mostly just a 'one read' type player?  We take your phones.  Will Ward at least be able to orchestrate a game-winning drive this season?

Cory Curtis from News 2 hops on the show for his weekly visit to share his thoughts on the Titans loss to the Browns.  What did Cory think of Cam Ward's play and how can things improve?  We head to your phones.  Maybe Cam Ward wasn't the reason they lost this game, but he's not making any plays to win the game either.  Just how disappointing was the defense against a not very good Browns' offense?  We close out with your final phones and some thoughts from around the NFL.
