Ladies and gentlemen, it's the 300th episode of The Paul Leslie Hour! It's with great excitement and honor we present the Robert Earl Keen interview. Keen has been called one of the foremost voices in the world of Americana music. A singer, songwriter, prolific recording artist and renowned live entertainer who has performed thousands of concerts nationwide. As a songwriter he mostly writes solo, but has also written with some of the greatest writers from Lyle Lovett, Fred Koller to Dean Dillon. Some great artists have performed and/or recorded his songs from George Strait, Nanci Griffith and Lyle Lovett to groups like the Dixie Chicks and the Highwaymen. Keen also hosts a podcast entitled "Americana Podcast: The 51st State."
