To commemorate the 50th anniversary of her acclaimed debut album, she reunited with Peter Asher to record "Why Wait!" Many of the world-class musicians who played on the first album are back, including Russ Kunkel, Danny Kortchmar and Leland Sklar (all past guests on the show).

"Why Wait" was released on Red House Records of The Compass Records Group. It's a joyous album! Available on vinyl, CD and as a digital download from Apple Music, there is a stupendous variety of inspiriting songs: popular standards and classics as well as originals.

Sean McDermott is recognized as one of Broadway’s leading performers having starred in Miss Saigon (opposite of Lea Salonga), Falsettos (opposite of Mandy Patinkin), Starlight Express (opposite of Jane Krakowski), and Grease (opposite of Lucy Lawless). He has also starred in major productions of Carousel, Chicago, Jekyll and Hyde, Show Boat and West Side Story.
