In this week's Campaign Kōrero episode we look at the events of the week from Labour's Launch to Act's latest outside influence, the findings of the Auditor General over the School Lunch programme and a mysterious side effect of listening to the TPU that the TPU seems to think is a bad side effect.

And then I'll sow you how to lay a complaint through the Advertising Standards Authority in case you get a flyer like I did from National with false claims you want to report.

Human rights seem like the sort of thing voters might be keen on, right? Then why have this coalition gone against so many section & reports from the Attorney General, against advice and concerns raised by the Human Rights Commission, the Waitangi Tribunal, law Society, the UN and Amnesty International?

Oh yeah, because being “the law and order” government doesn’t mean what the public thinks it means.

After news this weekend revealed WINZ staff were being told they would be punished for giving out too many emergency housing spots while the coaltion continues to pus through move on orders and reduce social housing builds, it's another cycle of cruelty to add to the list for th Coalition who really want your vote this election.

In this week’s This Week’s The News, the ghost of Robert Muldoon decries National’s Universal Super scheme, Investigations for everyone and back tracking on selling DOC tracks (not that that was every the plan, honest, really, like truly).

The specific section of the propsed DOC amendment might have been removed because of the huge wave of public pressure but the feeling by many is this government is sneaky and will try and make changes anyway - like they did with the Treaty Principles Bill. So to make sure it stays gone, make sure you're ready to vote!

As winter weather sets on around the motu, now is a great time to hunker down and tell the government what you really think of some of their last gasps of attention for bad law changes.
