As a young aspirant, Mr Nzibo has faced various challenges but more to that, we dive into how he plans to promote accountability and transparency in his ward to ensure he is held responsible by the members of his ward. Mjue Kiongozi Wako is an online advocacy platform that PAWA254 seeks to empower the general public by offering the general public a front seat view to interact with and get to know their 2022 candidates better. As the Office of the Member of County Assembly is one that is closest to Wanjiku in terms of delivery of services, and since the grassroots is PAWA’s main target in as far as governance is concerned, the Mjue Kiongozi Wako series will focus on the MCA’s their roles and responsibilities and give the MCA candidates from across different political divides the opportunity to share their manifestos with the electorate. The podcast series will feature MCA Aspirants in the youth bracket as PAWA 254 believes in youth empowerment for social good.

The COVID-19 pandemic proved it difficult to carry out our usual '"businesses of the day. The social distancing and lockdowns put in place as regulation measures were chocking hazards to the industry considering it thrived on gatherings. All in all the the sector developed a few shock absorbers like digitizing content and going online. This episode series expounds on the effects of COVID-19 on arts and how to venture into the future as we ensure resilience in the sector.

The Constitution of Kenya (Art 260) defines “State”, as the collectivity of offices, organs and other entities comprising the government of the Republic under the Constitution. It proceeds to list state offices as including all the eight offices occupied by the eight leaders elected at general elections to serve in both national and county governments which mean that all the eight are state officers.

Article 73 of the Constitution of Kenya notes that authority assigned to a State officer is a public trust to be exercised in a manner that 

(i) Is consistent with the purposes and objects of the Constitution;

(ii) Demonstrates respect for the people;

(iii) Brings honour to the nation and dignity to the office; and 

(iv) Promotes public confidence in the integrity of the office. 

The Constitution of Kenya vests in the State officer the responsibility to serve the people, rather than the power to rule them.
