"...what we have is a brutalized security system that, actually, does not respect the rights of people..."  

"The two-thirds gender rule: The supreme court said, 'do it by 15th August 2015.' This is a deadline that was not met, despite the court order saying that the two-thirds gender rule has to be met. This violation means that parliament is unconstitutional!"

Welcome to episode 2 of the PAWA Podcast: Heroism & Courage series. 

We are joined by Angela Mumbua, to help us unpack some of the issues that affect the youth and Kenyans at large, and address pertinent questions such as:

How can we participate in the matters of social justice?

We will also shed some light on the role of women and young people in the fight for social justice, the power of community organising and the current regime.

Angela is a queer feminist who dreams of freedom and is dedicated to dismantling all systems of oppression. She is currently studying Political Science at Catholic University.
