Shikhar Veer Singh and Nidhi Singh | Founders of Samosa Singh

Samosa is a specialty snack of India and its available all over India and ofocurce in Indian retains the US and am sure other countries too.

Shikhar began on a mission to disrupt the food business and started Samosa Singh. Shikhar has an extensive experience in food technology and has completed his master’s degree from the premier Institute of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad. Shikhar joined Biocon in 2009 as a scientist, but his talks at home kept returning to Samosas, or rather the business of Samosas. Slowly, the
seed of a samosa business sprouted roots and shoots. 

The business concept was fine-tuned towards making a hygienic product and a distinctive one. Samosa Singh was founded in 2016 with
the goal of reinventing the king of Indian snacks, the samosa. The company has expanded at an exponential rate under Shikhar’s leadership. Samosa Singh now functions from a big, largely automated facility with proprietary automation that is capable of handling good order volumes. Aside from his
active participation in the business, he enjoys traveling. He also works out rigorously to stay fit because he is a great believer that being healthy equals being wealthy.

Nidhi Singh is the Co-Founder of Samosa Singh. Nidhi was heading the Business development
vertical for a US-based healthcare company, BioXcel Corporation. She worked a decade before quitting
her satisfying job to start Samosa Singh. She decided to invest in a hygienic startup after garnering over 10 years of experience in marketing. She aspires to offer nostalgic and Indian delicacies both online and
offline. She believes that the goal is to recreate and dominate the Indian snack category.

Sumithasri Eranti | Chairwoman of Aviva Life Insurance India and Schaeffler India.

 She is also an independent director at Navi General Insurance.

International Leader with over 25 years of professional experience in business leadership, technology, consulting, and financial services industry. Focus on new business unit creations and transformational growth. Currently represent technology area on the board.  Multi-cultural experience of living/working in 11 countries, including the USA, India, Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands. Having completed his Bachelors's in Engineering from NSIT Delhi and post-graduation from IIM Kozhikode, he has worked in various roles across brand management, trade marketing, in-store marketing, and sales and distribution of multiple FMCG businesses. Prior to joining iD Fresh Food, Rahul headed the marketing at ITC Foods for the Snacks, Noodles, and Pasta businesses 

Sirisha Voruganti | Managing Director JC Penny

Sirisha , brings 31+ years of global executive experience spanning research labs, product engineering, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, business development, and consulting across public and private sectors. Most recently she was Managing Director JP Morgan Chase, leading Architecture, Data and Digital for the Consumer Bank. She was the 1st woman MD of JP Morgan Chase in India, and before that, she was an Executive Vice President of Architecture, Data and Technology Services for MasterCard and led Mastercard India as Chairman of the Mastercard India Board. She was the  First Group Executive Leader in Technology for MasterCard outside the U.S. During her tenure as the India head of Mastercard, Mastercard was chosen as one of the best places to work at. She is currently the Managing Director of JC Penny India. JCP is a 100+ yr old Retail Giant in North America. 

Sirisha holds a Master’s  Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and also holds patents in Cloud-Based Versatile Systems for Radiological Images. She also did an Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School.
