Maria Corte is a past SHAPE America (formerly AAHPERD) High School Teacher of the Year for the Mesa School District in Arizona. She has received many awards for quality programming and teaching. Chris Nichols is an elementary PE teacher for the Garland School District in Texas and a past TAHPERD Teacher of the Year.
