In this episode of The Peace After War Podcast, I return after taking a full week off social media to recenter, restructure, and stabilize. I speak directly to veterans (and anyone who's carried the weight of hard service) about why so many of us remain stuck in chaos, isolation, and self-made wars long after leaving the military.
I cover:
This is straightforward, no-fluff conversation for anyone who feels the emptiness of mediocrity or missing mission after service.
If you're a veteran tired of the internal war and ready to step into peace and purpose, this episode will speak to you.

In this unfiltered episode 130 of The Peace After War Podcast, I sit down in my studio and share exactly where I'm at right now — just days after the birth of my daughter Isabel on April 16th.
I open up about the last 25 days: how I went from heavy anxiety about money, business, clients, and fatherhood… to a deep, daily peace that I've never had before. This isn't theory or a polished sermon. It's me talking straight from the heart about what a real relationship with Jesus Christ actually looks like — not just religion, not surface-level faith, but talking to God like a Father who wants to hear the truth from you every single day.
I discuss:
This episode is raw, unedited, and real. No fancy production, just honest conversation. If you've been listening to earlier episodes and felt the pain, the anger, or the struggle in my voice — this is the other side.
Links mentioned:
God is waiting. He's not far. He just wants a real relationship with you.
If this episode moves you, share it with someone who's walking through war right now — whether that's divorce, trauma, anxiety, or feeling distant from God.
Thank you for listening. God bless you.
In this episode of the Walking with God Series, I talk about the journey God has had me on for the past month.
I hit 39k in December, but I felt empty and disgusted with myself because I never once gave God the glory.
I was running from Jesus, fighting the call, and letting pride take over.
I share the hard moments — firing my business coach, the signs on the trail I couldn't ignore, and the moment I finally stopped fighting and leaned all the way in.
Now I can't unknow what I know. Once God shows you the truth, you can't go back.
If you've ever felt successful on the outside but empty inside, or if you've been scared to fully surrender to God — this episode is for you.
My testimony will serve as your lesson. Listen with an open heart.
On this episode, I explain a little bit about the path that I'm currently on, and I encourage you to listen to it while you are walking in the woods. The reason I say that is because God is in nature, and in a city environment it is easy to get distracted with the honking of the horns, with the lights of the city, and with the noise or chaos of the world around you.
Take a listen to this, and I hope some of it helps you, moves you, inspires you, and leads you a little bit closer to your path with God. Thank you for your time, and I hope to see you on the next episode. By the way, if you want to be on the live and actually be able to ask questions, go to TikTok and follow me. This is the start of my Walking with God series.
I went out for a walk, started talking to Him, and just let whatever was on my mind come out. I talk about my past, the mistakes I've made, the chaos I created in my life, and how I'm finally learning to slow down, listen, and trust Him.
If you've been feeling lost, overwhelmed, or like you're trying to figure everything out on your own, just come walk with me.
You haven't heard from me in a while, and there's a reason for that.
Life forced me to step back. I had to clean up my business, rebuild my team, and focus on what actually matters, my family, my clients, and myself.
In this episode, I break down where I've been, what I've been through, and why most veterans stay stuck long after they leave the military.
This is about the second war.
The one you fight after service.
The chaos you keep recreating.
The identity you refuse to let go of.
And the truth most people avoid hearing, you are not stuck, you are choosing it.
I share my full story, from the Marines to law enforcement, chasing titles, losing myself, and finally building a life centered on peace instead of chaos.
We also get into:
• Why veterans chase chaos after getting out
• How your old identity is holding you back
• The real reason you feel lost in civilian life
• Why discipline without self awareness keeps you stuck
• Small decisions that will change your life starting today
This is not motivation.
This is ownership.
If you are ready to stop repeating the same patterns and finally take control of your life, this episode is for you.

You didn't lose your identity when you got out—you just kept trying to lead in a world where no one asked you to.
In this episode, Juan Perez breaks down what really happens when veterans refuse to let go of the military version of responsibility—and how it becomes the very thing that holds them back.
This one's about control, identity loss, self-abandonment, and what it means to truly rebuild when no one is watching. Juan shares how losing his career twice (once as a Marine, once as an undercover cop) forced him to confront the one thing he never wanted to face: himself.
You'll also hear:
Why you need to stop trying to fix everyone around you
How "ownership" beats "leadership" in civilian life
The 4 rules Juan lives by to create peace and progress
The biggest lies we believe about being a veteran
A raw behind-the-scenes update on parenting, coaching, and finding purpose again
This is one of Juan's most personal episodes yet. Part lesson, part update, all truth.

Most veterans think they're in their lonely chapter, but they're not. They're still surrounded by the same people holding them back. This episode exposes what the real lonely chapter looks like... and why it's the only way to truly level up.
You're not alone. You're just finally on your own.

This isn't about politics. It's about evil.
Charlie Kirk was murdered for speaking his mind. Whether you agreed with him or not doesn't matter. He was a father, a husband, a man who stood up and used his voice. Now his children will grow up without him. And most people will move on in a few days, as if nothing had happened.
This episode is a reminder that freedom of speech is being tested. Good people are being silenced. Fear is being used as a weapon to silence us. But the way we fight back isn't by yelling louder. It's by living better.
By doing more good. By staying human.
Be the light. Hug your kids like it matters. Show up like this life is yours. And do not let fear win.
