Bette Haskin was born without fingers. As a child she would spend months in the hospital enduring painful procedures to graft in skin and bone to create a functioning hand. Because she needed to move her hands in between surgeries, Bette's mother decided it was a good idea for Bette to learn how to play the piano. When I met Bette, as an adult, she played the hymns beautifully during church services.
In this podcast, Bette goes into more detail of what it was like to achieve the impossible. She shares with us the various life lessons she learned along the way about faith, perseverance, and forgiving others who were brutally unkind to her.
Lastly, Bette shares with us another amazing feet she recently accomplished of loosing over 100 pounds! You will be amazed at Bette's faith and determination.
