Dave also branches out of corporate videos every now and then and occasionally works on short films, one of which received finalist for best drama and finalisty for best sci-fi in the 2017 my rode reel competition.

Today on the Pearshaped podcast we have a real live film director, Dane Hansen.

He is a freelancer but also represented by Brisbane based production Company ‘Two Little Indians’. 

During the past 5 years he has accumulated a wealth of clients both national and international ranging in all styles and formats, but mainly working in fashion and beauty filming.

Dane is also a writer and director of short films, having created two which have screened at prestigious international film festivals such as Palm Springs Shortfest and Flickerfest.  He was Shortlisted for the 2017 Lexus Short Film Fellowship in partnership with Sydney Film Festival on his second short film.
