So many people in our community have never been to a YSU game! Unless they are personally an alumni or have students in the family, they have never gotten to see or meet the basketball team, seen the girls play volleyball, cheered on the swim and dive teams, or have known that YSU has a girls bowling team! Do you know that YSU baseball takes place at the popular Scrappers stadium with special community nights and that YSU softball games are free?? THAT is why we started The Penguin Signal Podcast - connecting the community with YSU athletics! The Signal originates from a new local restaurant in downtown Youngstown called The Varsity Club of Youngstown, where we set up and sit down for these fun interviews!
