No matter what's going on in our life, there is an opportunity for thanks. In today's message we look to Luke chapter 17:11-16 NLT: 

11 As Jesus continued on toward Jerusalem, he reached the border between Galilee and Samaria. 12 As he entered a village there, ten men with leprosy stood at a distance, 13 crying out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”

14 He looked at them and said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.”[a] And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy.

15 One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, “Praise God!” 16 He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan.

In these verses we find 10 lepers who were healed by taking a step of faith. They followed Jesus' instruction, and one of them turned around and gave thanks.

In this message we discover the truth found in the final ingredient needed to experience a true thanksgiving -> Forgiveness. 

Forgiveness is a hard thing. We freely receive it, but often refuse to give it. However the fact of the matter is, if we don't forgive we can't be forgiven. Our refusal is the same as telling God, "I don't need your forgiveness."

We're continuing our journey looking into what it means to celebrate a true Thanksgiving. As a culture we gather together on one day a year specifically to celebrate Thanksgiving, but true Thanksgiving goes beyond the one day and becomes a lifestyle. 

As we look at the components that make up a true thanksgiving we're likening it to a recipe. Just as a recipe has different ingredients, it also has various instructions and an expectation that all will be followed. When all of the various components come together, it's then that we experience a thankful heart, one that easily bubbles over like the Rivers of Living Water we learn about in scripture. 

Today we focus in on the ingredient of sacrifice. Why is sacrifice necessary, and what sort of sacrifice is needed? Join us as we dive in to discover truth about the sacrifice God is really looking for.

Our mind is powerful which is exactly why God calls us to change it. One way we allow our mind to be changed is by learning to choose gratitude. Gratitude is a powerful mindset shift. It's one that has the ability to draw us to others.

Have you ever found yourself stuck in a thought pattern? Your consumed by something and no matter how hard you try you can't get your mind off of it? The definition of doubt means to hesitate; to waiver. 

Our culture today is full of doubt. Every where we look it's as though everything is being questioned. 

What does this mean for Christians? How do you stand firm in your  faith when everything is being called into question? 

The Word of God is truth. Truth stands frim. God is so serious about His Word, scripture tells us to buy the Truth and sell it not. That means the Word of God has to be in us to a point where we know it and live it. 

We can't back away from it because when we do it opens a door for doubt to creep in. We must get to a place in our walk with Jesus where we follow Him without a doubt.
