Join us as we discuss the Best Picture winning musical "The Broadway Melody" and the Al Jolston hit "The Singing Fool." Both are rousing musicals that feature super rape-y scenes of misogyny, dead babies and blackface. Which of the two films do you think we preferred? None was not an option.

And so it begins... with two very different, yet oddly similar silent films. Chris and Matt embarked on a patriotic WW1 silent film "Wings," which took home best picture. From there, we braved the four hour plus epic of Abel Gantz's "Napoleon." Which did we prefer, Oscar's choice, or the highest grossing film of the time worldwide, "Napoleon"?
