Our guest for this week is none other than the dynamic Dale Hefer. Dale is a bestselling author and former Businesswoman of the Year. She was a finalist in the EY Global Emerging Entrepreneur Awards and The Most Empowered Women in Government and Business Awards. She started advertising agency Chillibush from her garage. It became a top ten South African agency and when she sold it in 2014 it had an annual turnover of more than R100m. Dale now owns and runs the leading marketing conference in Africa, the Nedbank IMC. A single mother of 12-year-old twins, Dale has successfully completed the Comrades, Two Oceans, plus many more endurance events. Dale’s first book “From Witblits to Vuvuzelas” was critically acclaimed. Her new book, “Hustling, Happiness and a Blowup Doll Named Percy - An Unusual Guide to Success and Contentment “ is due for release in May.
