By overreacting, it’s like experiencing the same thing twice. Once when it happened and again when we took our outrage out to the situation.
So here are 4 don’ts to stop overreacting and take it easy.
1. Don’t take things personally
2. Don’t give your attention where it isn’t needed
3. Don’t overreact based on your feelings
4. Don’t pay attention to what’s beyond your control
When you stop overreacting, you give yourself the ability to think about a reasonable solution without wearing yourself out in the process.
