Open Mic with Host Mike Sherbino is a Live call-in program that provides Christian insights into contemporary, moral, and ethical issues of everyday life. A show that dives deep into how your faith in Jesus changes your life.
In this 2 part episode of Open Mic, in the first half of the program, we talk about finding comfort as it pertains to mental health.
Joining Mike are two special returning guests Allan and Bonnie Gallant. They are the founders of Agora Network Ministries. On July 7th, 2017 in a split second Allan’s life changed when he suffered a severe stroke, but God protected his body. The only paralysis Allan suffered was in his speech. After a month of recovery and learning to speak again, Allan began the hardest battle of his life. A battle with mental health; PTSD, severe anxiety, and depression. From this crisis, AGORA Network Ministries was birthed and a new journey began in ministry for Bonnie and Allan. A ministry that desires to come alongside the church; the pastor, the Christian leader, and the congregation to the mental health crisis and stigma we face in our societies and churches.
Part Two: Money in the Church
Have you ever felt you were in a situation where the church was begging for money? What are your thoughts on that?
Maybe you have felt like people are taking advantage. What are your thoughts on people being paid in the church or do
you feel they should work for free?
