Yep, that uncomfortable moment when someone points out something they don’t like or think could be better about your work. If you’re a pet portrait artist—or any kind of artist, really—you know how much your heart and soul goes into your art. So, when someone critiques it, it can feel like a personal attack.
I’ve been there, trust me. Early in my career, criticism would absolutely wreck me. I’d lie awake replaying someone’s comments over and over, wondering if I was even cut out for this. But over time, I’ve learned to handle criticism in a healthier, more constructive way.
