The PewterCast

Typically, Casey Phillips can be found hosting events and videos, interviewing our favorite players, coaches, and GM, and even hosting radio shows. But now we flip the table on her, and get a chance to dive into who Casey Phillips really is. She'll tell us about her early days reporting on school lunch menus, and how her drive and tenacity led her to become the Team Reporter in the NFL. PLus, we'll get her personal thoughts on the Bucs draft and offseason moves, as well as some fun behind the scenes stories from the Ali and Donovan Show, and a look at what MIGHT be coming this year for fans.

The NFL released the full schedule for the 2020 season, assuming it still happens. We don't care so much about the other 31 teams, but we are here to pick apart the Buccaneers' schedule.

• Brady vs Brees 2x,
• the Division game schedule,
• 5 prime time games, but 7 other spotlight games,
• the bye week,
• the championship,
• and (not) much more

We got to be a part of an exclusive Q&A with Buccaneers GM, Jason Licht, in a phone call he held with Krewe Members, and Jason had some interesting answers for the questions. We weren't allowed to record, but we took our notes and will tell you in this video what exactly Jason Licht said, and didn't say.

With the 2020 NFL Draft now in the books, it's time take a look at the picks, open up the phone lines, and discuss them with you, our fellow fans. This was a really good group of callers, and we tackled issues like:

• Ren eating crow on the Safety Pick
• Brent eating crow on his first round pick immediate reaction
• Which current Buc is Tyler Johnson most like?
• What's the deal with OJ Howard now?
• and so much more.

Plus, this was our 4th Anniversary show. A BIG BIG Thank You to everyone who has ever joined us, downloaded, been a guest, called in, joined the chat, left a review, sent in an email, or voted in the Pewties. You guys have made this such a special 4 years, with fans from all over the world, nearly 400 episodes in, and recently crossing 500,000 downloads. That's huge and thanks to all of you for helping to make it happen. Here's to the next 500,000.

The Anniversary Show

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers trade for Rob Gronkowski, coaxing him out of his retirement in the WWE, in a deal that no one thought would actually happen. So we do what we do, and went live at youtube.com/thepewtercast to discuss it with YOU, our fellow fans. Phone lines were open, and the video chat was also open. We also discussed how this signing affects OJ Howard, the Draft, the WR room, and more.
