The PFPN

Hey guys and gals, welcome to episode 433 of LOTC. This is our journey through the decades and we are currently in the 1990's, specifically 1995. We invited special guest and LOTC family member, John Barnhart to help us count down our top 5 horror films from 1995. This was a surprisingly better year than expected, as most of the decade has been more miss than hit. We hope you will enjoy our list's and would love to hear from you, call 1-804-569-5682 and let us know what you have. We want to Thank John Barnhart for being on the show. Sit back and grab those favorite snacks and beverages as you journey with us through the Land Of The Creeps.

Chainsaw Paul here, 6 years ago our favorite neighborhood werewolf Wolman Memo came on the show for a guest appearance to shoot the shit and talk about one of his all time fave movies, that movie... the original horror classic Phantasm. Little did he know at the time that id dupe him into joining the show and becoming our permanent guest host! so here we are 6 years and 54 episodes later and what do we have up on the platter for episode 65 (wait a minute only 65 episodes in 7 years! WTF! lol) Phantasm II from (1988) the follow up to the beloved original. Does it outshine the original or is it another shitty sequel? hit play and find out what we thought of Phantasm 2

Let’s show some skin and hitchhike a ride to the beautiful countryside of Pennsylvania. Join us as we discuss why the 1982 Cult Classic “Midnight” is just another day in the woods complete with Satanic rituals, creepy Step Dads and old world John Russo charm.

This week on Mad Ghoul Radio, we ease into a mix of atmospheric electronics, shoegaze textures, post-punk classics, and a few personal favorites that hit just right at night.

From layered guitar haze to pulsing beats and spoken-word interruptions, this episode moves through different moods without rushing. Some tracks feel familiar, others come out of left field—but they all belong here.

It’s a little noisy, a little dreamy, and built to be played loud.

In this episode, we crash back into action after another unexpected break and there's no better place to start than our usual center line of horror. Jason's pick brings us an interesting genre mashup in Paul Andrew Williams' The Cottage from 2008. But is this a hidden gem that fell through the cracks of the late 2000s slasher revival or a rightfully forgotten mess? We dig deep as both hosts find quite a lot to be charmed with. But before all that, Jason hits up the movie theater with Michael in tow to weigh in on a potentially new horror franchise and Dustin climbs upon the soap box to defend The Weeknd's Hurry Up Tomorrow against an overwhelming amount of negative reviews. And so much more!

This week we get together to talk about Tony's pick Here For Blood from 2023

When his girlfriend is swamped with college exams, a pro-wrestler agrees to cover her well-paying babysitting job. What starts off as an easy night quickly spirals into bloody chaos when a murderous cult comes to abduct the child.

Some toys are just too wild for store shelves! In this episode, the gang dives into the world of banned, recalled, and flat-out dangerous toys. From choking hazards and fire risks to weapons disguised as childhood fun, we’re counting down the craziest toys that got the boot. Which ones did we own before they disappeared? Which ones totally deserved it? And which banned toys still hold a special (and slightly illegal) place in our hearts? Tune in for a hilarious and slightly hazardous look back at the toys that crossed the line! They we talk about Crown Point Toys & Collectibles to see if we should go there someday.
