Late Nights at Blockbuster
We're going back to the past in another time travel movie! This week’s Late Nights at Blockbuster continues our Novikov November with the 10th anniversary of X-Men: Days of Future Past. We get to discuss one of the writers, Simon Kinberg, right off the jump as he’s been involved in our favorite and least favorite movies and TV shows of the past 20 years. We talk a lot about Peter breaking Magneto out of the Pentagon as it hits on a lot of our categories. We end with a lengthy discussion, for once, on "whose movie is it?"
Goofs: Troy incorrectly states that James McAvoy is Irish. He is Scottish, born in Glasgow.

Back to the Future Part II
Novikov November continues as we hop back into the Delorean with Doc and Marty to head to the future…then back to the present….but it’s the wrong present….so we go back to the past….to make it the right present….but it’s all okay because we get hoverboards out of the whole deal, so it’s completely worth it and not confusing at all. So turn Lithium mode on, undo the power laces on your sneakers, maybe put some money on the Cubbies, and enjoy the ride as we discuss Back to the Future Part II.

We’re celebrating the 25th anniversary of David Fincher’s Fight Club. We start off with a pretty good PSA on what you are getting yourself into if you’ve never watched Fight Club. Although, if you’ve ever watched Fight Club you know that we aren’t supposed to…talk about Fight Club. We explore all the good, bad, and the ugly for a movie that is extremely divisive. We also have a surprise Top 5 that we tagged onto the end of this episode and we’ll bet that you can’t guess the topic. If you don’t want spoilers for the following movies please stop when we start the Top 5.
Spoilers for: Unbreakable, Psycho, The Sixth Sense, Frailty, Primal Fear, The Prestige, Memento, and The Usual Suspects
It's the quarter mark of the season so we are here to update our tiers and discuss the good, the bad and the surprising of the NFL season so far.
