In March of 1997, thousands of people living in the Valley of the Sun looked up and saw a strange sight. A series of lights, flying in formation, slowly and silently crossed over the Phoenix metropolitan area. What fascinated, and terrified the citizens of Arizona that night, though, wasn't the lights themselves. 

It was the mile-wide ship the lights were attached to.
