This week View to a Kill comes under the microscope ( bought for a quid off wish ) and it doesn't fair as badly as we thought.
The plot of this weeks Bond movie really does need some a great imagination as it concerns a Russian General on the verge of using nukes to take the West.
The picture? If you know, you know.
Have a listen if you fancy it, Dave's opinions are his own and should have no bearing to your own. He tried to avoid spoilers, but this review is peppered with them.
Fal got himself a dose of Covid licking bins again so it time to look in the vault again. As we near the brink of nuclear war again lets look back to a film that etched into the mind of generation x. Threads was original our 18th episode, now hidden behind the paywall as the format of our podblast changed.
The psychopaths are well and truly in charge still and the worst thing? We let them and because bendy bananas and our neighbours have more stuff than us or something.
It's fake Bond o'clock. In brief Dave likes it and Fal hates it, it's kind of like the good old days.
What a hot mess this film is! I mean there's some memorable stunts and a great performance by Moore and Topol but the rest... wow. There is a lot to unpack in this episode so please join Dave and Fal as they discuss, among other things, a much maligned henchman and Epstein (I know).
