In episode two of the Pink Medicine Podcast I catch up with the gorgeous Lauren Spear.
Lauren is a special needs teacher who two years ago had a workplace accident which resulted in her obtaining a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). It was through her early days in recovery that she created and wrote The Orange Butterfly Blog and has organised and curated many events and provided online support for others within our community living with a Traumatic Brain Injury.
In this Episode we discuss:
the day she had her accident
what her road to recovery has looked like
how and why she created The Orange Butterfly
4 things everybody NEEDS to know about what life's like living with an invisible disability
whats inside her "tool box" for resilience
how meditation has changed her life and why you should do it too
why finding YOUR tribe is so important in life
whats to come for her future and the future of the Orange Butterfly
her advice for overcoming the obstacles life can throw at us
This was such a beautiful conversation, and I got soo much out of it and I know you will too!
