This week, we’re doing something a little bit different. Instead of discussing a specific character, I had the opportunity to speak with actor, musician, writer, and filmmaker Danny Shorago—who also happens to be the voice behind Hancock, the first character we discussed. 

We had a great conversation about the complex dynamics between performers and fans, the essential role storytelling plays in our lives, creating the conditions for magic, and so much more. When we first encounter R.J. MacCready in Fallout 3, he's a foul-mouthed teenaged mayor of an underground town of children. Ten years later, in Fallout 4, he's a distraught young father, seeking a cure for his own child and grieving the loss of his wife.
