  • Giant Pumpkins, Second Chances & Beaver Fever

Drew sits down with Brad Bahns for a conversation that is about as Pacific Northwest as it gets—from giant pumpkins and unusual lake races to second chances at life and the resurgence of Oregon State football.

Brad gives us the inside scoop on the West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta, coming to Tualatin on October 18, including his own quest to grow a championship-sized pumpkin and eventually turn one into a floating race machine. The annual Tualatin event features giant pumpkins being paddled across the Lake of the Commons, with this year's festival running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The conversation also takes a much more personal turn as Brad talks with Drew about Drew's recent heart issues—and the incredible story of Brad being the very guy who died in Drew's driveway and was brought back to life.

And because Brad is an Oregon State Beavers alum, we couldn't leave without talking some college football. We dive into the excitement surrounding the Beavers during a bounce-back season and what has fans believing there could be something special brewing in Corvallis.

It's a conversation filled with giant pumpkins, crazy stories, football, friendship, second chances and plenty of Pacific Northwest weirdness.

  • Jesse the Chicken Guy: Portland’s Best Wings, Hidden Gems & More

If you love chicken, wings, and finding the best food Portland has to offer, you’re going to want to hear this conversation with Jesse, aka the Chicken Guy.

From classic Buffalo wings and dry rubs to smoked wings and wild Asian-inspired sauces, Jesse has made it his mission to eat his way through Portland one piece of chicken at a time. No paid placements, no sponsored rankings, and no pretending to love something because someone handed him a check. Just real food, real opinions, and a whole lot of chicken.

We talk about his love of supporting local businesses, how he got started making food videos, what makes a restaurant stand out, and why Portland continues to be such a fun food city.
