For the second week in a row, Pocket Gamer reviewer Harry Slater joins me behind the mic to talk about all things mobile. With Silent Hill: Origins and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories coming to Vita, we delve into the history of everyone's least favourite holiday destination. Hitman GO and Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft are at the top of the new releases pile, followed by endless-roller Unpossible and the sun-chasing hookshot game Icaruash.

This week, podcast regular Peter and I are joined by Pocket Gamer's reviewer extraordinaire Harry Slater, as we catch-up on the latest mobile gaming news.

During the show we discuss the latest TV-inspired tap-fest Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff, and debate the effectiveness of comedy in gaming. Also, we reveal the number of Threes! clones which appear on the App Store every day. Spoiler: it's more than three.

This week, Peter, Keith, and I learn that Amazon has ended the console race in a single press release by announcing its Ouya-esque Android microconsole thingy, the Amazon Fire.

Then we read the press release a little closer, and discover it's mostly for watching movies and Breaking Bad and that.

Last night, Peter and I took to Twitch to broadcast the first ever live episode of the Pocket Gamer Podcast.

And, thanks to a good crowd, some encouraging comments, and a surprising lack of technical hiccups, we had a blast.

Despite having webcams trained on our faces, we tried to stay true to the established formula. We talked about the release date for the BAFTA winning Size Does Matter, the death of Guitar Hero, and the revival of Flappy Bird.

This week, Peter, Keith, and I gathered behind our mics as usual to discuss the most pressing and pertinent developments in the world of mobile gaming.

However, it's not long before I'm complaining about my kitchen being flooded, and Peter's telling stories about developers inviting him behind curtains to see what's under their raincoats.

On this week's show, Keith, Peter, and I complain about British Airways, IKEA delivery policies, and abandonment.

Then we remember we're doing a podcast about mobile gaming, and start talking about Flappy Bird clones instead.

Things get vitriolic in this week's podcast, as Peter unleashes an astonishingly long anti-fanatic rant provoked by the comments of a Nintendo shareholder who thinks we should be able to pay to make Mario jump higher.

Once Peter's gotten that out of his system, he and I tackle the tsunami of new releases which has washed over the App Store this week.

This tidal wave of games includes the likes of RTS sequel Autumn Dynasty: Warlords, melancholic space exploration game Out There, and mirror-based puzzler God of Light.

Finally, I explain why Tengami is only half the game it could have been, while Peter tells us about the schitzophrenic charms of Dual Survivor.

It's awards season again. This means lots of AAA console devs in expensive frocks are about to congratulate one another on making that game where a man shoots a gun, and the another man falls over.

However, to celebrate the diversity of mobile gaming, Peter, Keith, and I decided to use this week's podcast to talk about the mobile games which have been highlighted by the IMGA and Bafta panels.

Yes, yes - we missed last week's episode. It couldn't be helped. We tried to help it, but its girlfriend was watching and it wanted to look all tough, so it refused our help.

So here Peter and I are, two weeks later, trying to summarise one of the rowdiest fortnights in recent gaming memory in the space of a single hour.
