We review the last month of football with VFL Coach Jackson Kornberg as we head into a massive clash with Coburg at Kinetic Stadium. The weekend is going to be box office and one you won't want to miss. 

This week our captain Trent Mynott plays his 100th VFL Game after playing at both Essendon (AFL listed) and Box Hill before joining Frankston in 2022. We touch on his journey as well as the culture that is being created at the Frankston Football Club and the strong connection with the community. 

This week we talk to Blake O'Leary about his coming of age as a player over the last 2-seasons. His move up the field onto a wing and his excitement about where the football club is heading.

Darby joins us after a fantastic career with the Sandringham Zebras. He won the 2023 Best and Fairest and was appointed co-captain last year. In 2025 he brings his 52 games of VFL experience across to Frankston. An inside bull, we track through Darby's career and what made him choose the Dolphins as his destination in 2025 and beyond.

Gun recruit Corey Ellison joins us for our first POD-CAST of 2025; we speak to Corey about his journey in football that has come full circle after playing one game for the club as a 19-year-old back in 2019. Since then he has won a VFL Premiership at Casey and was third in the best & fairest at Williamstown last year. We look forward to seeing Corey causing plenty of headaches for opposition defences in 2025. 

VFL Head Coach takes us through what week one of Pre-season looks like, as well as the pre-christmas program. 

We speak about the list retention and how our new recruits are settling into life at Frankston. We speak about the competition as a whole and the influx of quality players across all stand-alone clubs. The increased alignment with the Dandenong Stingrays and how that is benefiting both organisations. 

The VFL team are training at the Healthy Futures Hub in Seaford on Tuesday - Thursday and Saturday Morning.

We discuss the areas we were able to improve throughout season 2024, including key metrics tracked by the football department, the organic growth of individual players culminating in 3x players earning VFL Team of the year selection. 

We analyse the list management and the strong retention we have been able to have with 24 players currently retained for next season and the selective nature of our recruiting. 

Lastly, we touch on the emotion of the VFL, what it means to the players, but also what it means to the wider community, we saw an outpouring of emotion from many of the teams, players and supporters across the finals series. We are a club that means so much to so many people.
