We preview our first finals campaign in 16-years. Our VFL team head to the Gold     Coast to take on the Suns at People First Stadium on Saturday at 1:05pm.

This Thursday we have an open training at Kinetic Stadium with the boys hitting the track at 6:20pm and on Saturday we have a LIVE Watch Party at Kinetic Stadium starting at 12pm. 

With one home-and-away game left in season 2024 for our VFL team, destiny is very much in our own hands. We speak with Jackson Kornberg about the preparations for this Sunday's big clash with the Bulldogs. We also review a massive Friday Night against arch-rivals Port Melbourne. 

Jackson also praises our Women's Football Program, particularly coach Anthony "Multi" Radings, for his efforts not just in season 2024 but over the last four years of women's football. He has coached both the D1 & D3 teams this year and created an amazing culture. We discuss the D3 team making the Grand Final and looking to create history. 

An intriguing chat with star forward Matt Johnson. Johnno is currently sitting 2nd on the VFL Goalkicking table one major behind the leader. He is a fantastic story of perseverance and diligence to his craft. Not selected in the Coates Talent League as a junior, he starred for local club Beaconsfield and after limited opportunities at the Casey Demons he has now kicked 66 goals across his two seasons at Frankston so far. 

What matters most to him? Having team success at Frankston!

We touch on the last two weeks, with two consecutive victories against Collingwood and the Northern Bullants. We examine the depth of the squad and how players have been able to come in and successfully play roles and ultimately hold their spots. We also discuss Getting George Grey and Josh Smith back after major facial injuries. 

We delve into the Collingwood game and the importance of community, past players, and families at our games. We then look forward to a big clash against Casey this Saturday, hoping to make it three in a row against a quality opposition and local rival. We celebrate the CureEB Research Foundation and raising much needed funds for EB, we will be wearing a different jumper this weekend to raise awareness and then follow it with our annual Butterfly Ball at Crown Promenade. 

Have you ever wondered what happens behind the curtain of a VFL team? Jordan Love is our High-performance manager at the Frankston Football Club and takes us through the finer details of being a state league footballer. From what a week looks like as an athlete in the FFC environment to the access to data and analysis the players receive. 

It was an insightful discussion with Jordan, and we will revisit it in the pre-season. He is extremely bullish of what this group of players can achieve over the next couple of seasons. 

Taine has had an incredibly consistent 2024, culminating in a fantastic performance against Werribee before the bye. 

Taine has also taken an off-field role, taking a lead role in organising the annual CureEB Ball for the football club held at Crown Promenade. Taine speaks about the wider cause of raising awareness and much-needed funds for EB and what it means for both the Men's and Women's programs to hold these events.  

We review the first half of the 2024 VFL Season with Jackson Kornberg and examine what areas of the club have really improved over the last eight months since Jackson came into the role. We speak about the importance of community, the strong involvement of the past players led by Peter Geddes, and the group's connection. There is a real desire to create something special, not just for the now but sustained into the future. 

This is a fantastic insight into Max Williams's journey. He is an elite junior whose journey to Frankston is a different one, with a mini reset after the @talentleague Max joined the club in 2019. 

He plays his 50th game this weekend against Southport, which has been a long journey to 50 games. 

He loves nothing more than spending time with family and getting away fishing. Max gives us a different outlook on how to be a VFL footballer and get the best out of yourself. He loves his teammates and the club, and the fans certainly love having Max as part of the Frankston family. Here is to another 50 of the best from the big fella!

Our VFL Head Coach Jackson Kornberg takes us through all the wash-up from an emotion-charged victory against the Swans on Friday Night.

We run through an electric first quarter of football and a brave final term against the wind down on troops to hang on for a 15pt victory. We get an update on Josh Smith as well as analysing Taj Campbell-Farrell meteoric rise over the last month. 

We then preview this weekend's assignment against a resurgent Southport on the Gold Coast. 

 We look back at the playing group's response against GWS and what the week looked like from a coaching perspective. We then turn our attention to a blockbuster game against the Sydney Swans on Friday Night and how we are going to attack a club with a quality culture and a deep playing list.

Timmy is also bringing down a young U14 team from Drouin to shadow the VFL side through the meetings and warm-up to give them a taste of top-fight footy. It is fantastic to continue to engage our community clubs with our VFL program.
