First, the Greeze offers a retraction on some faulty reporting. Then, Will and the Greeze drink Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale & Stout in a second beer edition of the PodCask. Finally, after the fifteen, they try Peerless Stright Rye from Louisville, KY. It's a 24 month old rye, sweet mash, non-chill filtered. We change gears a little bit this week. Our buddy Logan comes back over to drink some whiskey and talk about the Podcruise. We themed our bourbon in this episode to relate to the cruise, so we drank Jefferson's Ocean. We talk A LOT about whiskey and sprinkle in some random stories. You'll like this one.

Pretty straightforward episode. First, Will and the Greeze decide to do a blind tasting for each other. Then, after the 15, they try Black Maple Hill Premium Small Batch Oregon Bourbon. Plus, there is a Greeze rant thrown in.

First we hear about Greeze's trip to Chicago, which took a detour through Bardstown. He also met up with a PodCask listener, and somehow scored a Weller 12. Then, after the 15, we try a High West American Prairie Bourbon single barrel pick from Elixir Wine and Spirits in Spring Hill, TN. This one is finished in Barreled Manhattan barrels for 1 year and 7 months. Enjoy.

Will and the Greeze try some Southern Belle red wine, which is finished in Pappy Van Winkle Barrels. Then Greeze decides to throw some Buffalo Trace in the wine. Then things really get out of hand when they mix Old Weller Antique with Mellow Corn and call it "Old Yeller" for the 15... Pour yourself a drink for this one folks. You'll need it.

Will and the Greeze take on a controversial topic and list 5 whiskies that they each think are over rated. *trigger warning* you most likely will disagree with many of their choices. Then, after the 15, they try the new Kentucky Owl Rye. This is an 11 year old, 110.6 proof small batch rye.

Greeze brings over some real, backwoods West Virginia blackberry moonshine to drink today. Being about as high proof as it gets, the two quickly delve into issues like college football and other important matters. Then, after the 15, they decide to drink EH Taylor Straight Rye.

Will is a bit sleepy because of the birth of his daughter, so he catches Greeze up on what has been going on -- including drinking at the hospital. They also talk about some tasting notebooks called "33 Glasses of Whiskey" which help you take notes on the whiskies you're drinking. Then, after the 15, they bring up Will's mother-in-law to try the Whistle Pig Old World Bespoke Blend from Carother's Wine and Spirits.
