We've finish ACoTaR with trial number three this week and boy is it a DOOZY! Our girl has to take lives to save lives and she doesn't do well with the blood on her hands. There's a fun stony twist, but make no mistake, it's poking holes in the red shirts that will stay with Feyre longest.

Amarantha is dispatched quickly once Feyfey (and Joshie!) solves the riddle and restores full service power to the High Lords. There's one last sting in the tail as Rhys sees something in Feyre that scares the heck outta him.

All your dreams can come true. It'll only cost you a Penny! Chunk 11 of ACoTaR starts RIGHT NOW!!!

Surprise, this week someone takes advantage of Feyra! Its the same song and dance, but Rhys is somehow being cruel, controlling, and supportive all at once. We almost go to bonetown with F&T but luckily theyre separated before Amarantha can stumble upon them.

We talk about mental, physical, and sexual abuse at times so fyi there. Skip us this week if you gots to.

Im always betting on you, so come on in, chunk 10 of ACoTaR starts.... RIGHT NOW!

This week we ramp up the action with Boss Battle: Feyre v Worm! FeyFey has to flex intellectual and regular muscles to survive task one, and that fight is a doozy! We get our weekly dose of Lucien help early but also are called upon by an unlikely savior: Rhysand!

After she survives the worm, Feyyre is almost undone by dirty water and overcooked lentils, but so far so good! Your humble podcast hosts discuss the important issues: How much is Tamlin packing, and whether the good people of Barstow should be so maligned!?!

Come writhe in the mud with us, I promise its mostly poop free! Chunk 9 of ACoTaR starts....RIGHT NOW!!

This week, Feyre learns what happened to her erstwhile lover, and it ain't Anthony good! We FINALLY get the expedition we've been craving and there's some good stuff!

Amarantha is our antihumanist bad guy, she's the one who cursed the Spring Court, and committed war crimes during the battles so long ago. And now Feyre needs to take the fight to get Under the Mountain.

We find out that Feyre has been lied to for months and while she doesn't care it certainly bothers this humble podcast host.

I'll never lie to you about the danger a thousand year old villain poses to your small village so come on in, chunk 8 of ACoTaR starts.... RIGHT NOW!

We touch on the Clippers scandal and moving priorities and try to soldier on.

Most of all Nesta steals the show.

Another week another assault on Feyre's agency. This time doubled!

Tamlin removes the glamour that's been plaguing our girl but holy shit does Rhys do a terrifying mind break on her as well.

in between we get a head on a spike and supernatural drunken play time so it's not that we lack excitement!!

There's some joy and music and laughter, and both hosts are mixing up living situations so there's fun discussing to be discussin'. ACoTaR chunk 6 starts RIGHT NOW!!

Wherein Feyre wanders into trouble...again.

(Next Week: A Court of Thorns and Roses ch 23-26)

(Discord: https://discord.gg/bEmxEGh5PD)

SERIOUS TRIGGER WARNING THIS WEEK: Lots of interactions wander in SA territory and its not great.

Feyre begins to paint and finally enjoy her new life in Prythian. Not coincidentally, she also opens herself up and get closer to Tam, and its great to see her happy!

However, things take a serious left turn as we approach Calanmai, a High Fae ritual holiday. Though the High Lord does warn off our narrator, she predictably ignores his warnings. Less predictably, she gets cornered three separate times in very yikes-ey situations, and it is a tough read.

Take the good with the bad. Chunk five of ACoTaR starts RIGHT NOW!!!

Wherein Feyre decides to paint.

This week we dance around a bit but all paths lead to the same truth: Feyre is not alone in her suffering! Alis, Tamlin, the unnamed flying faerie, and Lucion all have their damage.

First, Feyre lets Tamlin in, then we are all witness to a brutal death, then we pop into a spring of sunshine to wash off our tears.

Im not quite fully hooked, but its a GREAT week of character interactions. I promise i wont leave my jeweled dagger in your back! Chunk four of ACoTaR starts RIGHT NOW!!!

Wherein Feyre kicks some faerie ass.

Turns out dad was a trick. This week we get the great expo dump! Its still pretty engaging but this week is clearly all about conveying sorely needed information to the audience. We learn about the 7 courts of Prythian and the scary big bad island of Hybern.

We also learn just who this Tamlin guy is, and that reveal doubles as Josh's first correct theory of the podcast!!

Feyre tries to learn to read and also learns to get into real trouble! She also does some cool ninja moves to fight off some bad guys! What a week!

I wont strand you on an island and feed you lotus flowers for seven years, so come on in! Chunk 3 of A Court of Thorns and Roses starts.....RIGHT NOW!!

Wherein Feyra unlearns about Fairies..

(Next Week: A Court of Thorns and Roses ch 11-15)

This week we arrive in Prythean and boy is it spooky. Sniffing sprites, misogynistic courtiers and crazy scary Bogges dot the map in Fairyville. But at least the eating is good!

While I love Lucien, Feyre has a ways to go before he wins her over--and vice versa. We also learn the identity, sort of, of our beastial captor. Tamlin is a Fae Lord of some sort, but mysteries ABOUND!

Lyssy is back from Thailand and my computer sorta works. Chunk 2 starts RIGHT NOW!
