I am so excited for this episode. It's a very, very special episode because this week on the podcasting party, I'm celebrating its ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! One year ago this week I launched The Podcasting Party. Now for those of you that don't know the podcast scene party is my second podcast.
If you've been around here very long you know that I am big on celebrating. I believe taking time out of our busy day, week, month, and life to celebrate the big, but also the small things is so important because it all adds up.
And I wanted you guys to celebrate with me. So that's what we're going to do in this episode. I'm going to share some of my favorite episodes. I am going to give you a little bit of behind the scenes of how The Podcasting Party came to be, why I created it, and just really celebrate what this space has become.

Today, we are going to jump into a topic that I get asked about all the time. And to be honest for a while, I put off creating this episode, even though you guys were asking for it, because this is such a hard topic to give you like a formula for because picking a name is so deeply personal.
However, I do think there are some best practices and steps you can take to create a podcast name that is not only going to work for you that you love, but it's also going to attract your ideal listener because in the end, that's what a name does, right?
It allows us to convey to our audience what our show is about, then hook them and bring them in. It's also a great way to use SEO when people search for this topic in Apple podcasts or on Google. And so that's what we're going to jump into today. Are you ready? Okay, let's do this.

Today's episode is sure to inspire and delight. Our topic is taking risks with my guest: Carrie Grace. Carrie is a motivational speaker, owner of The Kindness Socks, and all around encourager. Carrie and I cover a lot of ground in such a short episode but if you're going to walk away with one main point from this episode I hope it's this: take more risks.
You will not believe some of the things Carrie has done in her life, just because she took the risk and asked!
In this episode Carrie and I discuss:
Guys, this is one of my favorite podcast interviews. If Carrie doesn't encourage you to dream big AND take some big risks to accomplish those dreams I'm not sure what will.

Lately I've received dozens of messages from women, just like you, asking "how do I make time to podcast?" Many of you are working from home, helping your kids learn from home, and your margin for time seems to be getting increasingly smaller. On today's episode I'm answering your questions: How do you make time to do this? How do we fit it in? How do we balance it all? I'm going to walk you through what this has looked like in my life. As well as some tips and tricks I have.
My goal, my hope, is by the end of this episode, you are feeling confident, in how to not just plan out the time it takes, but maybe to eliminate and delegate some of the things in your life to make room for your podcasting. Okay. So let's jump in to this episode all about how to make time to podcast.

I am so excited about today's episode, it is all about podcast editing and we are literally covering it all today, friends.
Last week I had on two fellow podcast editors to discuss what podcasts editors do, & why we charge so much.
But, what if you want to edit your own show or you need to edit your own show? What then? Well, I'm glad you asked. That is what we're talking about on today's episode, we are going to discuss the pros and cons of both hiring an editor versus editing your own show. And then I'm also going to discuss some of the tools and resources that you're going to need if you want to edit your own show.
I wanted to invite you to join my No Edit 7-Day Challenge. I'm going to walk you through the four steps to get amazing sounding episodes with no editing. That's right. Zero editing.

Or have you ever wondered what a podcast editor does and why it seems to cost so much? (Come on, I know you’ve thought “why do they charge so much?”)
Well, on this episode of The Podcasting Party I’ve gathered two other podcast editors and we’re sharing with you exactly what we wish podcasters knew about:
