On today’s episode of The Poems We Made Along the Way Gregory Kearns is joined by Maitreyabandhu. They talk about the importance of humour, why brackets are an underated form of punctuation, and not liking poetry that is trying to improve you.

Maitreyabandhu is a poetand teacher of Buddhism based at the London Buddhist centre. He has written four full collections The Crumb Road, Yarn, After Cézanne and most recently A Commonplace Book. All of which are published by Bloodaxe. Numerous of his talks on Buddhism can be found on the London Buddhist Centre YouTube page, as well as his series of poetry interviews called Poetry East.
