Hi all! Wrote a little appreciation poem because I missed my man. He's still here, he just hasn't returned my facetime yet.

Y'all, it has been a minute. I took the last few months off writing poems, because in complete honesty, I didn't feel the need to write. 

I've felt really at peace and just in a space where my emotions no longer weigh on me. I've been very blessed to be surrounded by so much love and support through all aspects of my life lately.

Some people say I'm articulate, others say i'm dramatic. You're both right ;)

Motherhood has been something I have always known I wanted. This poem is dedicated to the children I can't wait to walk through life with. Consider this a time capsule poem for when you're old enough. Love you!

Hi loves! Thank you to everyone who has been tuning in, i'm so sorry i've been missing the last month.

I've been debating posting this one as there are some heavy topics mentioned. But y'all, it's me, I can't not share. This experience is not special, thousands of us deal with racial comparisons and standards of beauty. I can only share on my experience, but a gentle reminder this topic effects many people, not specific to any race. 

Be kind, be loving, and learn to lift each other up. 

Some call me a people person, others a social butterfly, and sometimes, they just call me talkative.

I like people, what can I say? :)))))
