In common places, if you don't expect something to happen, would you recognize the extraordinary if it happened?  Most of us fail to do so and unfortunately that includes missing Jesus when he is ready to do the extraordinary in our lives.  If we seek the Jesus' presence and let Him manage our lives we will experience everything that God wants to give us.

How would you feel about God if you realized He loves your enemies and doesn't share your desire for justice?  Through the life of Jonah we discover how much God loves the world and why the most reluctant of us are probably the perfect people for him to use.

Following Jesus is a learning process.  God puts life and death challenges in our path and waits to see what we will do.  At first we choose to save our life only to soon learning that we aren’t saving our life at all, but rather dying.  Only when we realize that choosing death to self is really the way of life, do we begin to choose Christ.

According to the Bible, to forgive is to absolutely refuse to hold any ill-will against anyone. This is God's way of healing us from the horrible things that others do to us.  Since Jesus has forgiven us, we owe forgiveness to everyone else.

The opposite of love is not hate.  The opposite of love is sin because sin is what creates hate and everything else that destroys our ability to love others.

Nothing matters more in life than having loving relationships.  But we are not automatically wired to know what that means nor do we do a good job of loving others well.  This week discover the keys to living a life that matters.
