In Harry Potter news, a Black actor named Paapa Essiedu has been cast as Severus Snape for the upcoming TV show, and people are up-in-arms about it, as usual.
You think a Black Snape would let weak-ass James Potter push him around? Us neither.

BALLINESIAN PODCAST ON THE POLYTICKIN NETWORK
We're back with the latest Free Agency news for the Raiders and the Chargers and other signings around the NFL. Las Vegas has re-signed and brought in a bunch of defensive players while the Chargers brought back LB Khalil Mack for one year, $18M fully guaranteed. Both teams look to be making solid moves without overpaying for incoming players. We'll also try to figure out what these flurries of moves may mean for other teams, like Sam Darnold getting 3 years, $100M ("BRIDGE!") from the Seahawks after they dumped Geno Smith, the Rams not wanting to re-sign Cooper Kupp but giving Davante Adams 2 years, $46M (Also what did Puka Nakua get for giving up his #17 to Adams?), why the Texans are trading away CJ Stroud's linemen in LT Laremy Tunsil to the Commanders and OG Kenyon Green to the Eagles, the Vikings bringing in starting DTs Jonathon Allen and Javon Hargrave and where we are now in the QB Carousel with Justin Fields finding a new home with the Jets.
Welcome back to another episode of The Polytickin' Podcast! The Movie Boys is in charge because Glasses is off on his adventures again.
Marcus went to his first company party and had a great time, but also saw why he doesn't go out anymore.
Lance is happy as hell about the state of the Lakers as we've climbed to the 2nd seed in the West.
The Boys lament further on the Mavs and their ruined season thanks to Nico Harrison and maybe the Adelson family?
Who would've thought Texas wouldn't be cool with gambling?
Tinā has made one million dollars in the New Zealand box office after one week and the people who've seen it are raving about it.
Also, if you were on Mr. Beast's game and had to decide to split the winnings with your entire team or taking it all, what you doing?
Now we know that Lance is a monster.

BALLINESIAN PODCAST ON THE POLYTICKIN NETWORK
This Super Bowl recap episode starts in the middle: Kendrick Lamar's halftime show, Uncle Sam L. Jackson and "The Great American Game" had the internet in an apparent uproar but we're not seeing the hate. And we don't think the beef is Game Over. Joined by the usos Luti and OhHelloMarcus, we dive into our halftime show takeaways, most memorable parts (a minorrr/chain, Serena!!, Sudan/Palestine flag), what everything (that we know of so far) meant and how SZA absolutely knocked her 65 seconds out. of. the. park!
(38:10) We get into the fallout from Super Bowl LIX and the Eagles triumphant and dominant win over the Kansas City Chiefs, 22-40. Will Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts finally get the respect he deserves, are the Eagles now perennial championship contenders, will Travis Kelce retire after an abysmal showing, ARE THE CHIEFS DONE???
